Archbishop to Children: Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit make you complete beings

Bangalore, December 04, 2022: St. Vincent Pallotti Church in Banasawadi bustled with great joy and excitement as 71 candidates eager waited to be confirmed in the Church.

Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore presided over the solem Eucharist and administered the sacrament of Confirmation to 71 candidates.

Speaking in his homily, the prelate explained the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. He urged the children to listen to the Spirit in their day to day lives. "The Gifts and Fruits the Spirit of God bestows upon you will make you whole and you become complete beings. As you receive the sacrament of Confirmation, you confirm to be a member of the Church and a part of Christ's body." said the Archbishop.

Besides, Archbishop Peter Machado, Rev. Fr. Manohar Josly Noronha, SAC, the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Paul D'Souza, SAC, Rev. Fr. Saver Lopis, SAC, and Secretary to Archbishop, Rev. Fr. Vivek Lionel Basu were present at the Eucharistic celebration.
