From Sinai to TC Palya: A Mega Sound & Light Revelation at St. Anthony’s Church.

Bangalore, April 13, 2025: St. Anthony’s Shrine, TC Palya, witnessed a breathtaking celebration of faith and culture with a spectacular Mega Sound and Light Drama on the Ten Commandments. Held at the St. Anthony’s Public School Campus, the event attracted an overwhelming crowd of nearly 5,000 people, including religious leaders, parishioners, and police personnel.
The evening began with an inauguration by a senior police officer, whose presence added significance to the occasion. The officer expressed deep appreciation for the grandeur and spiritual richness of the event, which was echoed by the other officials and attendees present.

The four-hour drama was a visually immersive production, masterfully enacted by the talented parishioners of Mariapura, under the direction of Fr. A. Thomas. A special highlight of the evening was the use of a 600-square-foot digital screen, which brought Biblical scenes to life with stunning visual effects, heightening the audience's connection to the message of the Ten Commandments.

Far more than just a theatrical performance, the evening left a spiritual impact on the audience. The dramatization of the Commandments from Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 served as a powerful reminder of God’s eternal call to righteousness and holy living. Many attendees expressed heartfelt gratitude to the parish clergy for such an inspiring initiative that blended faith with culture so seamlessly.

The grand success of this event would not have been possible without the vision, leadership, and tireless dedication of Msgr. C Francis, whose unwavering commitment to promoting faith through cultural expressions has continuously enriched the parish and the Church. Along with the parish clergy Fr. David and Fr. Alex and parishioners, Msgr. C Francis’s efforts turned the evening into a moving testament of God’s Word made alive through art and devotion. He shared his heartfelt thoughts: “This drama was not just a performance—it was a prayer. Through sound, light, and sacred scripture, we hoped to touch hearts of the faithful and bring the Word of God alive in our times. I thank everyone who contributed to making this mega event such a powerful witness of our faith.”
The faithful response was overwhelmingly positive. a parishioner reflected on the impact of the evening: “I came with my family just expecting a play. But I left with tears in my eyes and a renewed sense of purpose. It felt like God was speaking to each of us through every scene.”
