A group of Anglo- Indians from various parishes met Archbishop Most Rev. Peter Machado on the 6 of July.
Former Member of the Parliament Mrs. Hedwig Rego, the coordinator of the group Ms. Belinda Lopez and the team members lead by the Spiritual Director Fr. Joseph Royan C.Ss.R proposed an action plan to strengthen the spiritual growth of the community members.
The Archbishop gave a patient hearing and emphasized that as Archbishop he cares for anyone who works for spiritual welfare, regardless of what community or language group one belongs to. Belinda Lopez informed the prelate "We have no problem with our priests. They have always been very good and co-operative " The prelate said that any endeavour to keep all Christians of any denomination together in love and peace is always welcome. Fr. Joseph Royan who thanked the Archbishop said that the group is focused on building spirituality and bringing youth and young couples to support the parishes they belong to.
