Immaculate Conception Church, Doresanipalya Leads First Jubilee Pilgrims Walk

Bangalore, March 31, 2025 – The Immaculate Conception Church, Doresanipalya, marked a historic moment by organizing the first-ever Pilgrims Walk in the Archdiocese of Bangalore to receive the Jubilee Indulgence. This spiritual journey, undertaken in deep faith and devotion, saw the participation of a large number of faithful who embarked on a pilgrimage from Doresanipalya to Infant Jesus Church, Viveknagar.

The pilgrimage commenced at 5:00 a.m. with the faithful gathering for Confession, Holy Mass, and the reception of Holy Communion, followed by prayers for the intentions of the Holy Father and acts of charity. The walk was accompanied by Fr. Sahaya Raj, Parish Priest, and Fr. Benjamin Christopher, Assistant Parish Priest, who guided and encouraged the pilgrims throughout the journey.

This initiative was undertaken as part of the Jubilee Year celebrations, emphasizing spiritual renewal, penance, and the grace of indulgences. The pilgrimage served as a testament to the unwavering faith of the parish, with devotees offering their prayers and sacrifices as they walked together in unity.
