Bangalore: Moved by the inspiration of the Extra Ordinary Missionary month, about 50 of the altar servers set aside their pocket money and pooling it together and sharing it with the needy have made a difference. The acts of charity is also an important dimension for the missionary activities which every baptized Christian is called to undertake.
The altar servers from infant Jesus Shrine, Vivek Nagar during their house visits made observations of the poor and needy families. They immediately came together to plan and actualize in concrete by providing groceries to the poor.
The beneficiaries were moved by the children’s act and some of them were moved with tears of Joy. The parish community is taken up by the altar servers’ move to share God’s love in action.
