Bangalore: A birthday celebration in honor of D.S. Arokiasamy, a senior priest of the archdiocese took place at Clergy Home on Wednesday, June 26. “I have never celebrated my birthday before. Only after my retirement I am cutting a birthday cake”, said the birthday celebrant as he thanked the Archbishop of Bangalore for organizing a celebration at the home of the retired archdiocesan priests.
Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado commended the reverend for his dedicated service and offered the mass for his intentions. The resident priests of the Archbishop’s house, Paalana Bhavana and Clergy Home concelebrated and participated in the birthday celebrations.
The celebrant is very well known for his discipline, spirituality and commitment. Fr Patrick Pinto and Fr Arun Santhosh who have worked with him before avowed the above mentioned qualities.
