St. Germain’s Academy in Cleveland Town in Bangalore reverberated with life and color as students displayed a spirited performance coupled with full of energy in actively taking part in the Annual Athletic Meet of the school. The students involved themselves in the track and field events. Their participation and performance were a sight to behold.
This year’s Annual Athletic Meet had a special significance as it was held after a gap of two years as the pandemic held sway of the normal human activity.
Mr. Roger Binny (Indian Cricketer and Member of the 1983 World Cup squad) was Chief Guest for the Athletic Meet and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Jude Felix (Former Indian Hockey Captain).
Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore, Most. Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, Archbishop Emeritus, Rev. Fr. Arun Santhosh, Secretary of the Archdiocesan Board of Education, Rev. Dr. Christopher Vimalraj, the Director of St. Germain’s Academy and other dignitaries were present to witness this annual sports meet.
