Bangalore, October 7, 2019: As part of the celebrations of Extraordinary Month of Mission, Rev. Fr. Anthony Prasad, Secretary, Proclamation and Evangelization Commission along with other members visited the Old Age Home of the Little Sisters of the Poor located at Hosur Road, Bangalore.
There were 200 inmates at the Old Age Home along with Most Rev. Dr. Ignatius Pinto, Archbishop Emeritus of Bangalore and Most Rev. J.B. Sequeira, Bishop Emeritus of Chikkamagaluru. The members of the commission met the prelates and interacted with them.
Most Rev. Dr. Ignatius Paul Pinto shared his experiences in the diocese as priest, bishop and archbishop. At the ripened age 95, his memory was excellent and could recall incidents meticulously. He blessed and prayed over the members of the Proclamation and Evangelization Commission.
